Tournament Rules

Group Stage Game Rules

1. All 2v2 matches will be played on V2 Rocket Facility on MI6’s server (64.79.108.205:7203), which contains Crow King Realism. Friendly fire will be on.

2. At the initial start of the match, the “home” team (determined during scheduling) will be allowed to pick either the Axis side or Allies side.

3. At least one player must play with a sniper rifle. The other players may play with any other weapon of their choice (including another sniper rifle). No bazookas or panzerschrecks will be allowed.

4. Each match will feature two halves. The first half will end when the winning team reaches 7 victories and the first half score is recorded. Following the first half, the teams will switch sides. The overall winner will be determined when either the winning team exceeds the number of victories the losing team had in the first half or if the losing team reaches 7 victories before the winning team exceeds the number of victories the losing team had in the first half.

5. At least one administrator will spectate the entire game. The administrator is in charge of console access, clarifying rules and implementing discipline if needed.

6. Cheating will not be tolerated. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is 14 years old. If you are cheating at this game, we pity you. At any point throughout the game, the administrator may initiate a timeout and take screenshots of any player and ask for that player to e-mail the screenshots to bondcuptournament@gmail.com for review with ten minutes' notice. If it is reasonably determined by the Bond Cup administration that cheating has occurred, the infringing team shall forfeit the tournament. To curtail suspicion, The Bond Cup administration encourages tournament players to download DMW, an Anti-Cheat Technology, here.

Knockout Stage Rules

1. All Group Stage Game rules shall apply with the exception of “home” team being the higher seed of the two teams.

2. Should there be a tie, each team shall choose a member to go on a one-on-one pistol whip duel with the opponent. The “bash” will commence on the outside ground floor of the rocket and be restricted to that floor. The team whose representative wins the duel shall be declared the winner and move to the next round.

Finals Rules

1. All previous rules will apply with the exception that the final round will be a best of three series beginning with The Hunt, The Bridge and V2 Rocket Facility (if necessary).

2. The winning team will be crowned The Bond Cup tournament champion and receive a prize, as well as recognition.
